Bryce Canyon Pines Resort is located on Hwy. 12, just five minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park.

Bryce Canyon National Park

The National Park is considered one of the geologic wonders of the world. It includes an amphitheater filled with multi-colored hoodoos, pinnacles and bizarre rock formations. The park offers outstanding opportunities to hike and ride horseback, following trails with descriptive names like Fairyland Loop, Queens Garden and Peekaboo Loop.

Highway 12 is Utah's only All-American Road and is one of the most scenic byways in the world. It runs through beautiful Red Canyon, (where you'll see Bryce-like rock formations), cuts through a portion of Bryce Canyon National Park and continues on into the Escalante Canyons Region (a twisting maze of sheer-walled slickrock canyons). The highway then climbs up and over Boulder Mountain, a high plateau featuring lush pine and aspen forests, small streams and numerous lakes. Trout fishing is excellent here.

Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument

Much of this area is included within Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, a huge area renowned for its hiking trails, jeep roads and mountain biking opportunities.
